Patna: A large fire broke out on Monday morning at a solar plate warehouse near National Highway NH 30 in Patna’s Bypass police station area, resulting in the destruction of goods valued at crores of rupees.
The blaze was first noticed by the warehouse guard, who spotted smoke and immediately alerted the manager. The fire quickly escalated, engulfing the entire warehouse, which stored valuable items including solar plates, inverters, and batteries.
Local residents alerted the fire brigade and police, prompting a swift response with eight fire engines dispatched to the scene. Firefighters have been battling the flames since their arrival.
Jitendra Kumar, the warehouse manager, confirmed that the facility belongs to Harsh Power Company and that the full extent of the damage will only be clear once the fire is fully extinguished. A fire brigade official indicated that a short circuit is the likely cause of the fire.
