Patna: Patna police are investigating after a teenage girl died by suicide on Monday, jumping from the roof of Sulakshana Palace Apartments on Nala Road. The girl, believed to be around 15 years old, has not yet been formally identified.
Officers from Kadamkuan police station took custody of the body and are reviewing nearby CCTV footage as part of their inquiry. A forensic science laboratory (FSL) team is also present at the scene.

Sub-Inspector Arjun Kumar said the incident appeared to have occurred overnight. “Police received information at 10 a.m., after which I arrived at the scene. We are in the process of identifying the girl,” he said.
Town DSP Rajesh Ranjan confirmed that the girl’s slippers were found on the roof but said the circumstances surrounding the death remained unclear. The authorities have not released any information regarding a possible motive.
