Patna: Producer and director Ekta Kapoor visited Van Devi Mahadham at Amhara in Bihta, Patna district, on Saturday ahead of the release of her upcoming film ‘The VVAAN’.
Kapoor offered Vedic prayers at the temple and sought blessings for the film. Narrator Deepak Mishra was also present during the visit.
The visit to the temple was part of the film team’s promotional activities in Bihar ahead of its scheduled theatrical release.
Sidharth Malhotra And Tamannaah Bhatia Meet Students
Meanwhile, lead actors Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia visited a private educational institution in Patna to promote the film.
The actors interacted with students, greeted them and spoke about ‘The VVAAN’. They also encouraged students to watch the film in theatres after its release.
The student interaction was held separately from Kapoor’s visit to Van Devi Mahadham in Bihta.
Film Draws On Bihar’s Cultural Heritage
‘The VVAAN’ is associated with themes linked to Bihar’s cultural heritage, nature conservation, religious traditions and the Chhath festival.
The film’s promotional narrative also highlights elements of local folk beliefs and traditions, connecting its story with the cultural setting of Bihar.
The team’s promotional visit to the state comes ahead of the film’s release and includes engagements with both religious and educational communities.

‘The VVAAN’ is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on September 25, 2026.
