Patna: Traffic movement in parts of Patna will change on September 17 due to a Deepotsav programme at Naveen Sinha Path in Mandiri. The Patna Traffic Police has announced restrictions on key routes to manage vehicle movement around the event.
Mandiri Nala Flank Closed From 2 PM
The western flank of Mandiri Nala will remain closed to general traffic from 2 PM to 8 PM. Vehicles using this stretch during the restriction period will have to take alternative routes.
Income Tax Golambar-Bans Ghat Diversion From 5 PM
A traffic diversion will be implemented on the Income Tax Golambar to Bans Ghat route from 5 PM to 8:30 PM. Vehicles travelling towards Bans Ghat from Income Tax Golambar will be directed through alternative routes during this period.
Commuters Advised To Plan Journeys
People travelling through Mandiri, Income Tax Golambar and Bans Ghat have been advised to plan their journeys according to the revised traffic arrangements. Motorists using the affected routes may need additional travel time because of diversions and increased traffic around the event.
The Mandiri Nala western flank will remain closed until 8 PM, while the Income Tax Golambar-Bans Ghat diversion will continue until 8:30 PM. Commuters have been advised to check the route restrictions before starting their journey.
Traffic Police Issues Advisory
The traffic police has asked motorists to use alternative routes during the specified hours and follow instructions from personnel deployed along the affected roads. Drivers have also been advised to avoid unnecessary travel towards the Deepotsav venue during the event to help maintain smooth traffic movement.
The traffic arrangements have been put in place specifically for the Deepotsav programme and will apply during the notified restriction periods on September 17.
