Patna Women’s College Entrepreneurship Club Welcomes New Members at Orientation Programme

Orientation session introduces students to the club’s vision, activities and opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs

Patna: The Entrepreneurship Club of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, organised its orientation programme on August 18, 2026, to welcome new members and familiarise them with the club’s objectives, values and upcoming initiatives.

Club Introduces Vision and Mission

The programme was graced and coordinated by Alok John, Club Coordinator, Director of the Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation Centre, and Dean, National and International Collaborations and Consultancy Services.

Addressing the new members, Ranjan elaborated on the vision, mission and activities of the Entrepreneurship Club. He also introduced the newly formed Core Committee and highlighted the club’s role in encouraging entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership among students.

New Members Receive Club Badges

A key highlight of the programme was the conferring of badges upon the incoming members of the Entrepreneurship Club. The ceremony formally welcomed the students into the club and marked their association with its future entrepreneurial initiatives.

The programme was efficiently coordinated by Samiksha Raj, Premier, Student Council (2026–27).

A New Beginning for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The orientation programme marked the beginning of a new journey for the Entrepreneurship Club. The initiative aims to provide students with opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills, explore innovative ideas and participate in activities that encourage leadership and enterprise.

The event concluded on a positive note, with the new members set to contribute to and participate in the club’s upcoming programmes and initiatives.

AIIMS Patna, PSI India Sign 3-Year MoU to Strengthen Family Planning Programmes in Bihar

Bhojpur: A major reshuffle has been carried out in the police department of Bihar's Bhojpur district. According to an order issued by the office of the Superintendent of Police, 11 police officers have been transferred and assigned new responsibilities. The reshuffle includes changes in the leadership of nine police stations, while the Bhojpur District Intelligence Unit (DIU) has also received a new in-charge. All transferred officers have been directed to take charge of their new postings with immediate effect. Major Changes in Police Postings Police Inspector Ashish Kumar Sah has been transferred from his position as supervisory officer at Koilwar Police Station and appointed as the new SHO of Jagdishpur Police Station. Police Inspector Kumar Rajnikant, who was serving as the in-charge of DIU Bhojpur, has been transferred and appointed as the SHO of Nawada Police Station. Police Inspector Vipin Bihari has been transferred from Nawada Police Station and given charge of Bihiya Police Station. Meanwhile, Bihiya SHO Sundeshwar Kumar Das has been transferred and appointed as the SHO of Gajrajganj Police Station. Police Inspector Narottam Chandra has been transferred from Koilwar Police Station and appointed as the new SHO of Piro Police Station. Piro SHO Deepak Kumar Sah has been given the responsibility of supervisory officer at Koilwar Police Station. Changes at Chandhi and Emaadpur Police Stations Police Inspector Sunit Kumar Singh has been transferred from Emaadpur Police Station and appointed as the SHO of Chandhi Police Station. Meanwhile, Police Inspector Sushant Kumar Mandal, who was posted at the Bhojpur Police Centre, has been appointed as the new SHO of Koilwar Police Station. Chandhi SHO Rakesh Kumar Roshan has been transferred and appointed as the new in-charge of DIU Bhojpur. Kumar Rajnikant, who previously held the DIU post, has now been given charge of Nawada Police Station. New SHO Appointed at Chauri Police Station Police Inspector Rakesh Kumar Singh has been transferred from Chauri Police Station and appointed as the SHO of Emaadpur Police Station. The responsibility of Chauri Police Station has been handed over to Police Sub-Inspector Dhananjay Kumar Singh, who was previously posted as Additional SHO at Gajrajganj Police Station. Following the reshuffle, all concerned officers have been instructed to assume charge of their new postings immediately. The changes are expected to bring a fresh administrative setup to several police stations across Bhojpur district.
