Patna Women’s College Hosts Campus Placement Drive With Cimage Group

Around 70 students participate as recruiters offer roles across technical, administrative and creative fields

Patna: The Placement and Career Counselling Cell, Patna Women’s College successfully organised a Campus Placement Drive in collaboration with Cimage Group of Institutions on March 30, 2026 at the B. J. Sullivan Hall. The drive was conducted for the students of UG Semester 6 and PG Semester 4 with the objective of facilitating career opportunities and providing meaningful industry exposure to graduating students.

The programme commenced with the formal welcoming of the distinguished guests, followed by a series of insightful addresses by the resource persons. Prof. Dr. Neeraj Agarwal, Director, Cimage Group of Institutions, shared his valuable insights on industry expectations and emphasised the importance of skill
development, practical learning, and professional readiness among students. Mr. Alok John, Dean, National and International Collaboration and Consultancy Services, Patna Women’s College addressed the gathering and encouraged students to actively participate in placement opportunities and prepare themselves to meet the evolving demands of the corporate world.

Patna Women’s College Hosts Campus Placement Drive

 

Ms. Megha Agarwal, Director, Cimage Group of Institutions, further guided the students by highlighting the importance of adaptability, creativity, and continuous learning in building a successful professional career.
The session was further enriched by the presence of content creators Ahana Man Singh, Shail Shekhar, Madhurika Majumdar, and Isha Rani, who shared their professional journeys and experiences in the digital and creative industry.

Their interaction with students provided practical insights into emerging career
opportunities and motivated them to explore innovative and dynamic professional pathways.
The programme was followed by personal interviews conducted across three different panels, each catering to specific domains, providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and interact directly with industry professionals.

The recruiting organisation offered employment opportunities to students across various entry-level positions in Computer Lab Support, Digital Marketing, Admission and Counselling, HR and Placement Support, and Academic Coordination. The roles included Programming Practical Coordinator, System and
Network Support, Digital Marketing Executive, Content Creator, Academic Counsellor, Relationship Manager, Tele-caller, Recruiter, Placement Coordinator, and Academic Support Staff.

These positions aimed to provide fresh graduates with practical exposure and professional growth opportunities Around 70 students participate as recruiters offer roles across technical, administrative and creative fieldsacross technical, administrative, and creative domains.
A total of 70 students participated in the preliminary round of the personal interviews, reflecting enthusiasm, confidence, and professional preparedness.

The placement drive served as an important platform for students to gain firsthand exposure to recruitment processes and corporate expectations while strengthening the connection between academia and industry.
The event was coordinated by the members of the Placement and Career Counselling Cell, Mr. Gautam Saurabh, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce; Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science; and Dr. Satyam Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of History,
under the guidance of Mr. Alok John, Dean, National and International Collaboration and Consultancy Services, Patna Women’s College.
The event was effectively moderated by Soumya Vartika, Joint General Secretary, Student Council 2025–26.
The programme concluded successfully with active student participation and positive engagement from the recruiting organisation. The Placement and Career Counselling Cell expressed its sincere gratitude to Cimage Group of Institutions for their valuable collaboration and continued support in creating employment opportunities and guiding students towards professional excellence.
