Patna: Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, under Patna University, organised a workshop titled “Resume to Recruitment” at BJ Sullivan Hall, aimed at equipping students with practical skills for the job market.
The event, held under the Gender Inclusion and Equity initiatives of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), brought together industry experts to guide young women on resume crafting, personal branding, and navigating recruitment processes with confidence.

Speakers included Somesh Kumar, Director of Swayam; Antesh Anand, Founder of Brandradix; and Priya Nath, a Startup Branding Strategist. Through interactive sessions and resume analysis, they offered students insights into current recruitment trends and strategies to enhance career readiness.
Plant saplings were presented to the speakers by Alok John, Dean of National and International Collaborations and Consultancy Services, along with Dr. Sumeet Ranjan and Rajeev Ranjan, Assistant Professors from the Department of Zoology, symbolising growth and collaboration.

The workshop was coordinated by Gautam Saurabh, Coordinator of the Placement and Career Counselling Cell, with Shailja Gautam moderating the session and Soumya Vartika delivering the vote of thanks. Core committee members Dr. Satyam Kumar and Dr. Amit Abhishek also attended.
Organisers highlighted that the workshop served as a crucial bridge between academia and industry, equipping students with tools essential for successful career transitions.
