Patna: The fourth day of Summer Camp 2026 at Patna Women’s College saw students engaging in a series of sports, fitness and skill-building activities aimed at physical development and team learning.
Around 50 students participated in the day’s sessions, which began with warm-up exercises and fitness drills conducted in the morning.
Taekwondo Training Session
In the first structured activity, Taekwondo trainer Jyoti Kumari introduced students to basic techniques and fundamental skills of the martial art. The session focused on discipline, posture and introductory combat movements.

Students were given hands-on guidance to understand core principles of Taekwondo as part of the camp’s self-defence training module.
Basketball Fundamentals
The second session was conducted by Coach Ravi Singh, who trained participants in basic basketball skills. The session included dribbling, shooting techniques and coordination drills.
Students were introduced to foundational gameplay elements designed to improve agility and team coordination.

Recreational Activities and Team Learning
Following the sports training, recreational games were organised by Quazi Bushra Ahmed. The activities were aimed at enhancing teamwork, coordination and sportsmanship among participants.
Organisers said the games helped students build communication skills and strengthen group participation.
Fitness Assessment and Coordination
As part of the day’s schedule, the height of all participants was measured and recorded for camp documentation and fitness tracking.
The overall activities were conducted under the guidance of Dr Manjula Sushila, Sports Coordinator, with support from Sports Secretary Richa Kumari and Joint Sports Secretary Khushi Kumari, who helped in the smooth execution of the programme.
