Patna: Shooting has begun in Lucknow for Danveer, the latest film starring Bhojpuri cinema’s leading actor Pawan Singh, with producers describing the project as a mix of high-octane action, emotional drama, and social commentary. Filmed across several historic locations in the Uttar Pradesh capital, the production has drawn attention from fans and industry observers alike. The makers say the choice of Lucknow adds both scale and realism to the narrative.
Danveer is being produced under the banners of YC Properties and Investment Pvt Ltd and Marfa Music. The film is produced by Prem Pal and Amrit Kumar, with Imroz Akhtar as co-producer. Direction and screenplay duties have been handled by Manoj Narayan, who is known for crafting commercially driven stories with a moral core.
Alongside Singh, the film stars Samar Singh and Mahima Singh in leading roles. Supporting performances will be delivered by Prakash Jais, Sanjay Verma, Nisha Jha and Sunita Maurya, forming a cast the producers say strengthens the film’s dramatic depth.
Speaking about the project, Singh said Danveer was not limited to entertainment alone. “The film carries a strong social message while maintaining a balance between action, emotion, and family values,” he said, adding that shooting in Lucknow had been an energising experience for the entire team.
Music for the film has been composed by Priyanshu Singh and Sargam, with lyrics by Chhotu and Ratnesh Singh. Cinematography is by Devendra Tiwari, while dance sequences are choreographed by Goldie Jaiswal and Sonu. Art direction has been overseen by Pawan Prajapati, with public relations handled by Ranjan Sinha.
The production team includes Aditya Singh as executive producer, Bablu as production controller, and Nitin as production manager. With filming now underway, Danveer is shaping up as a large-scale release that could mark another significant chapter in Pawan Singh’s career, as audiences await further updates on its release schedule.
