Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bihar on Thursday, signalling an intensified push by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the state assembly elections. His visit began in Darbhanga, where he met local party workers and officials at the Air Force Station to discuss election strategies and urged them to promote central government schemes among voters.
From Darbhanga, PM Modi flew by helicopter to Muzaffarpur, where a rally is being held at Ratal Maidan in Mohammadpur Balmi Chowk, Motipur. The event is seen as a strategic effort to appeal to voters in the Tirhut and Champaran regions.
Later in the day, PM Modi is scheduled to hold a second rally in Chhapra. These events mark his third and fourth election rallies in Bihar this season, following appearances in Samastipur and Begusarai on October 24. Union ministers, MPs, and senior NDA leaders are expected to join him on stage.
BJP officials said thousands are anticipated to attend, with PM Modi’s speeches broadcast live digitally at more than 100 locations across the state. The party has also announced further engagements for PM Modi in Bihar on November2, including rallies in Arrah and Nawada, and a roadshow in Patna.
