Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a road show in Patna on November 2 as part of his campaign to boost the National Democratic Alliance’s prospects in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
According to party sources, PM Modi’s road show will cover three key assembly constituencies — Phulwari Sharif, Digha, and Bankipur — all of which are scheduled to vote in the first phase on November 6. The route is expected to begin from Patna Airport and conclude at Gandhi Maidan, though official confirmation of the final plan is still pending.
Preparations for the event are under way, with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and state ministers Nitin Nabin, Rituraj Sinha, Deepak Prakash, and Sanjay Mayukh, inspecting multiple locations across Patna on Sunday to finalise the route and security arrangements.
Speculation is also mounting over the possible presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alongside the prime minister. Sources say BJP leaders have been in contact with the Chief Minister’s Office to coordinate security permissions. The two leaders were last seen sharing a stage during the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year.
