Buxar: Jan Suraj leader Prashant Kishor has said that people in Bihar now want to move away from the current political leaders and focus on change. Speaking at a public meeting in Dumraon, Buxar, during his Bihar Badlaav Yatra, he claimed voters will choose those who promise employment and education over traditional leaders like Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Kishor accused the BJP, the state government and the Election Commission of trying to remove the names of poor and migrant voters from the electoral list. He said this was being done because these people are likely to vote against the ruling parties in the upcoming elections.
He predicted that both the BJP and Nitish Kumar’s government will lose power in Bihar by November this year. Kishor added that his Jan Suraj movement is bringing together people who want real change in the state.
During the meeting, popular Bhojpuri folk singer Bharat Sharma ‘Vyas’ joined Jan Suraj. Kishor welcomed him, saying more people who want to improve Bihar will join the movement in the coming days.
