Aurangabad: As the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections nears, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi intensified his attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during a rally in Aurangabad on Tuesday, questioning the state government’s performance over the past two decades.
Upon arriving on stage, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha greeted the crowd and asked, “How are you? What’s your mood? Do you have a plan to remove Nitish Kumar? He has been running the government for 20 years, but it’s not working.”
Rahul Gandhi accused the ruling JD(U)-BJP alliance of neglecting local needs and taking instructions from New Delhi. “The Bihar government is running on Modiji’s orders from Delhi. There’s no land here for you people, but Modiji has plenty for Adani and Ambani,” he said at an earlier rally in Begusarai on Sunday (November 2).
After the Begusarai rally, Gandhi and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) leader Mukesh Sahni visited a nearby pond, where they joined fishermen in catching fish with nets. The two leaders even boarded a small boat and entered the water — a moment that quickly went viral on social media.
