Patna: Satish Kumar, Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board, conducted a window trailing inspection of the Jeevdhara-Muzaffarpur-Patliputra railway section on Friday the second day of his two-day visit to East Central Railway.
During the inspection, Satish assessed safety measures, monsoon precautions, signal visibility, railway track maintenance, proper ballasting, track screening, overhead traction alignment, and track fittings along the route. General Manager Chhatrasal Singh and other senior officials accompanied him.
He also inspected stations at Jeevdhara, Chakia, Motipur, Muzaffarpur, Bhagwanpur, Hajipur, and Patliputra, reviewing passenger amenities, cleanliness, security, platforms, and circulating areas.
Satish reviewed the progress of redevelopment works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and directed officials to ensure high-quality construction within stipulated deadlines. At Patliputra, he examined the map for the upcoming washing pit line to be built for Vande Bharat train maintenance and issued necessary instructions.
Divisional Railway Managers Vinay Srivastava (Samastipur), Vivek Bhushan Sood (Sonpur), and Jayant Kumar Chaudhary (Danapur) were present with the Chairman and CEO in their respective jurisdictions during the inspection.
