New Delhi: The Bihar women’s team clinched the All India Championship at the Civil Services Kabaddi Tournament held at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi, from January 3 to January 8. In a historic victory, the team defeated Himachal Pradesh 45-23 in the final, marking a proud moment for Bihar.
Rashmi Kumari, a key player from the Department of Information and Public Relations, played a pivotal role in the victory. Her exceptional performance not only secured a gold medal for the team but also brought immense pride to her department and the state.
Vaibhav Srivastava, Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, along with Additional Secretary Sanjay Krishna and Joint Director Ravi Bhushan Sahay, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Rashmi Kumari for her remarkable achievement.
The tournament witnessed the participation of 20 teams from across the country, making Bihar’s triumph a significant accomplishment. The daughters of Bihar have once again demonstrated their talent and determination on a national platform.
