Bhagalpur/Patna: Eastern Railway will operate special unreserved trains between Bhagalpur and Kiul during the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Level-1 Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination period to facilitate candidates travelling to examination centres.
To accommodate the expected increase in passenger and candidate traffic during the examination period, Eastern Railway will operate the additional services on 16 days from 3 to 25 August. The services will be available during the examination period on 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 25 August.
Special Train Schedule
According to Eastern Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shibram Manjhi, train number 03409 Bhagalpur–Kiul Examination Special (Unreserved) will depart Bhagalpur at 7.30pm and arrive at Kiul at 10.30pm on the notified dates.
The return service, 03410 Kiul–Bhagalpur Examination Special (Unreserved), will leave Kiul at 11.30pm on the same dates and reach Bhagalpur at 3am the following day.
Halt At All Stations
The railway said the special trains will stop at all stations on the route in both directions.
The services are expected to benefit candidates travelling from Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Dharhara, Abhaipur, Kajra, Uren and other stations along the Bhagalpur–Kiul section by providing direct connectivity to examination centres.
Crowd Management Measures
Railway officials said operational arrangements have been strengthened to manage the additional rush during the examination period. Instructions have been issued to field staff to ensure effective crowd management, passenger safety and punctual train operations.
Candidates have been advised to reach stations well in advance, travel with valid tickets, and carry their examination admit cards, identity proof and other required documents.
Relief For Candidates
The RRB Level-1 examination attracts a large number of candidates, resulting in heavy crowding on regular trains during examination days. The special unreserved services are expected to reduce congestion and make travel more convenient for thousands of aspirants appearing for the examination.
