Patna: In a proactive move to ensure the safety of devotees during the ongoing Chhath Mahaparva, the Sashastra Seema BalĀ (SSB) has deployed its relief and rescue teams across various ghats along the Ganga in Patna.
Under the guidance of Inspector General Nisheeth Kumar Ujjwal, officers inspected security arrangements on October 26, personally reviewing measures and providing directions to personnel on site. SSB teams are not only stationed in Patna but also deployed across multiple districts in Bihar to safeguard devotees attending Chhath rituals.

Deputy Inspector General (Medical) Abhay Prakash was also present during the inspection. Authorities have emphasised the importance of preparedness and swift response to any emergencies during the festival.
