Three-day ISKCON Festival

Patna: The ISKCON temple in Patna is set to transform into a vibrant centre of spiritual celebration as it marks its third anniversary with a three-day Brahmotsav and Kirtan Mela. Scheduled for April 28 to 30, 2025 at its Bhootnath Road premises, the event promises a confluence of faith, music and global devotion.

The festival commemorates the establishment of the temple and the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of the deities Sri Sri Radha-Banke Bihari Ji. Organisers expect thousands of devotees from across India and abroad, including from the USA, Russia, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

Kirtan performers, monks and senior Vaishnava devotees will gather from ISKCON centres including the global headquarters in Mayapur, West Bengal. His Holiness H.G. Naru Gopal Prabhuji, Regional Secretary for Bihar and Jharkhand, will lead the event with spiritual discourses and devotional guidance.

“This is not just a festival, it is a spiritual Mahakumbh,” said a temple spokesperson. “It is an invitation to connect deeply with bhakti and share in a message of unity, peace and devotion.”

ISKCON Patna, since its founding, has emerged as a hub of spiritual and cultural life in Bihar’s capital. The temple’s organisers have called on citizens, families, and youth to participate in the celebrations and receive the blessings of Radha-Banke Bihari Ji.

The festival is expected to feature continuous kirtans, spiritual talks, processions, and prasad distribution, offering a rare glimpse into the vibrancy of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition.
