Patna: Bihar Tourism Minister Kedar Prasad Gupta on August 19 inspected Bapu Tower, a museum in Gardanibagh, Patna, and reviewed its architecture, construction and galleries.
Bapu Tower Director Vinay Kumar and other officials were present during the minister’s visit. The director briefed Gupta about the museum’s design, construction and various exhibits.
Showcasing Gandhi’s Life And Ideas
Bapu Tower presents Mahatma Gandhi’s life philosophy, ideas, role in India’s freedom struggle and his historical association with Bihar.
During the inspection, Gupta said the museum provides an opportunity to understand Gandhi’s life, ideas and contribution to the freedom movement.

He said the galleries offer visitors an opportunity to learn about Gandhi’s principles, particularly his emphasis on truth and non-violence.
Connecting Younger Generations With Gandhi
Gupta said Bapu Tower could serve as an important medium for connecting younger generations with Gandhi’s life and ideas.
The minister also reviewed the different facets of Gandhi’s life presented through the museum’s galleries during his visit.
