Sabour: Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, showcased its commitment to agricultural innovation by hosting a startup idea presentation event for seed funding under the Startup Agri Incubation Program. The event, held at the Directorate of Research, saw 21 innovative startup ideas pitched by Cohort VI and VII, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for agri-entrepreneurship in the region.
Chaired by Dr. A.K. Singh, Director of Research, BAU, Sabour, the event was supported by RKVY RAFTAR under SABAGRIS, emphasizing the university’s role in transforming agricultural challenges into business opportunities through funding, research, and mentorship.
Dr. D.R. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of BAU, Sabour, emphasized the importance of nurturing young entrepreneurs, stating, “The Startup Agri Incubation Program at BAU reflects our commitment to encouraging young minds to tackle real agricultural challenges. We are committed to supporting these entrepreneurs with strategic funding, mentorship, and technical guidance to turn their ideas into viable agribusiness solutions.”
