Rajgir/ Patna: In a delightful update for wildlife enthusiasts, Bandana Preyashi, Secretary of the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, shared photographs showcasing the growth of two lion cubs at Rajgir Zoo Safari. The images, dated October 24, 2024 and March 8, 2025, reveal the cubs’ significant development over a span of just over four months. Lions typically have a lifespan of 12 to 17 years in the wild.

In a related development, Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, inaugurated a new aviary at the Rajgir Zoo Safari on Saturday. This addition is expected to enhance the zoo’s appeal, offering visitors an enriched experience of the region’s diverse avian species.
