10 Probationer IAS Officers Undergo Training in Bihar Home Department

Patna: Ten probationer IAS officers of the Bihar cadre from the 2023 batch underwent training in the state’s Home Department on Tuesday. The session aimed to familiarize them with the functioning of key directorates, including Prosecution, Sainik Welfare, Prisons, Home Guard Corps, Fire Services, and Police.

During the training, the officers were introduced to the operational mechanisms of various branches and cells within the department. Senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Secretary Pranav Kumar, Special Secretary K.S. Anupam, and Additional Secretary Animesh Pandey, were present at the session.

The initiative is part of the structured training program designed to equip newly inducted IAS officers with insights into the administrative framework of the state’s law enforcement and security apparatus.
