Dr Janmejaya Sinha, Member of the Board of Governors at IIM Bodh Gaya, opened the ceremony with a message of resilience and optimism. “Be an optimist,” he told the graduating class. “Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can.”
Presenting the Annual Report for 2024–2025, Director Dr Vinita Singh Sahay spotlighted the institute’s growing academic excellence, infrastructure development and global collaborations. She also shared updates on placements, revealing that over 370 of the 441 eligible students had secured roles across diverse sectors.
In terms of compensation, the top quartile of students from the MBA, DBM and HHM programmes secured average CTCs of Rs 18 lakh, Rs 21 lakh and Rs 15 lakh per annum respectively. The overall average CTC stood at Rs 12 lakh for MBA and DBM graduates, and Rs 11 lakh for HHM graduates. Key recruiters included Deloitte, PwC, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Tata Power, with offers spanning consulting, BFSI, IT and manufacturing sectors.
Outstanding performers across all programmes were recognised with three categories of awards: the Chairman’s Gold Medal, Director’s Gold Medal, and the IIM Bodh Gaya Gold Medal for Best All-Round Performance.
In the MBA programme, Mihir Shaw received the Chairman’s Gold Medal, Aniket Kumar Gupta was awarded the Director’s Gold Medal, and Goud Shriprasad Arun was recognised for Best All-Round Performance. The convocation concluded with an address by Chief Guest Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman and CEO of ONGC. Be a net giver instead of a net taker—true leadership comes from giving more than you take.”
The ceremony was both a reflection of IIM Bodh Gaya’s rapid evolution and a launchpad for its graduates as they step into leadership roles in a dynamic and demanding global economy.
