Khagaria: A sad incident took place in Khagaria district of Bihar where a teenager died by suicide after a small family dispute. The girl has been identified as Julie Kumari, aged 15. The incident happened on Friday morning in Karjania village under Parbatta block.
According to her family, Julie had a fight with her sister on Thursday evening about cooking food. After the argument, she went to sleep on the roof. The next morning, her family found her hanging from an acacia tree near their cattle shed. The tree had broken earlier during a storm.
As soon as they saw her, the family informed the police. Madiya OP President Mohammad Firdaus reached the spot with his team. Due to the seriousness of the case, a Forensic Science Laboratory team was called to collect evidence. Police are investigating the matter to understand what exactly happened.
Julie was the daughter of Mithun Muni, who lives in ward number 15 of Madiya police station area. Her death has left her family and village in shock. Police said no written complaint has been filed yet by the family regarding this incident.
