Patna: The Patna police have appointed new in-charges for 15 city police stations, as part of a broader reshuffle of senior officers. Ravindra Kumar will head Shastri Nagar, Sanjeev Kumar has been posted to Ramkrishna Nagar, Sadanand Shah to Fatua, Baliram Dev to Secretariat, Sanjeev Kumar to Digha, and Saurabh Kumar to Kadri Ganj.
Other postings include Ranjan Kumar to Hathidah, Kunal Kumar to Panchmahala, Roshan Kumar to Samaygarh, Sanjeev Kumar to Khusrupur, Sumant Kumar to Paliganj, Amit Kumar Singh to Gopalpur, Archana Singh to Salimpur, Shubham Kumar to Pachrukhiya, and Shashi Bhushan Singh to Rupaspur.

The appointments were announced by the office of the city’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP). Previously, Shastri Nagar and Ramkrishna Nagar had no permanent in-charges, with additional SHOs overseeing operations, while Santosh Singh was removed from Digha. Several other stations, including Kotwali, Gandhi Maidan, Buddha Colony, Pirbahor, and Patliputra, also saw changes in leadership.
The reshuffle comes alongside the transfer of multiple DSP-rank officers and represents the third list of postings issued by the Patna SSP this year. The first list, issued on August 14, covered seven stations, while the second, on August 23, involved 18 officers. This latest announcement affects 15 police stations across the city.
