Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib on Sunday evening, describing the visit as a “divine experience.”
Speaking about the Gurudwara, the Prime Minister said that the noble teachings of the Sikh Gurus continue to inspire humanity. He also highlighted the site’s historical significance, noting its close association with Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, whose courage and commitment to justice serve as an enduring source of inspiration.

Sharing glimpses from his visit on X, PM Modi wrote: “It was a very divine experience to pray at the Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib this evening. He also mentioned having darshan of the Holy Jore Sahib of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, which arrived in Patna following the Brahm Guru Charan Yatra, an event attended by devotees from across different walks of life. Modi urged people to visit the Gurudwara and pay their respects.
