Patna: St Karen’s Secondary School celebrated its annual sports day, Desportivos 2025, on the school campus with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. The event turned the campus into a lively sports arena, where children from different classes took part in various competitions. The focus of the day was not only on winning medals but also on discipline, teamwork and enjoying the spirit of sports. Teachers and students worked together to make the programme smooth and well organised.
The chief guest for the occasion was Dr (Prof.) Vivekanand Pandey, vice-chancellor of Amity University, Patna. The sports day began with a colourful welcome dance, a song and a march past by students, which created an energetic atmosphere. This was followed by various track and field events and group drills. Students showed strength, speed and teamwork during the competitions, reflecting their regular practice and hard work. The playground remained filled with cheers and encouragement throughout the day.
