Patna: The Bihar government has launched a citizen-centric initiative under its Seven Resolves Part 3 programme, encouraging residents to submit suggestions on improving government services and easing everyday challenges. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s administration said the move is aimed at bringing the state closer to its goal of becoming one of India’s most developed by 2025-2030.
The programme, under Resolve 7—“Respect for All, Easy Life”—seeks to identify ways in which government services can be more accessible and responsive to citizens’ needs. Residents are being asked to provide input on areas such as home delivery of official documents, eldercare services, easier access to hospitals, and safe pedestrian movement. Suggestions can also address broader community issues, including roads, sanitation, electricity, water supply, and health services.
“The initiative allows citizens to communicate their experiences and needs directly to the government,” the Chief Minister’s Secretariat said. “Constructive suggestions that make life easier for residents will be prioritised.”
The process for submission has been simplified: citizens can send proposals via letter or online through a QR code. The deadline for submissions is January 4, 2026. All suggestions will be reviewed, and a phased action plan will be drawn up to implement practical solutions.
The Secretariat urged participants to be clear and concise, describing both the problems they face and potential solutions. Officials emphasised that every suggestion will be considered in the government’s planning, reinforcing the role of citizen participation in Bihar’s development.
Through this initiative, the state government aims to strengthen direct communication with residents, improve service delivery in rural and urban areas, and create a safer, more convenient daily life for all.
Citizens wishing to contribute are encouraged to send their suggestions to the Chief Secretary at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Patna before the January deadline.
