Patna: A serious crime involving a three-year-old girl has been reported from the Parsa police station area in Patna, prompting swift police action and widespread concern.
According to officials, two people, including the girl’s uncle, have been arrested in connection with the case. The child has been admitted to hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Police said the incident occurred late at night when the girl was taken away by her uncle. She was later found in a critical condition, after which her family alerted authorities.
Officers reached the scene and ensured the child was taken to hospital for urgent medical care. Based on statements from relatives, police identified suspects and carried out arrests.
Station House Officer Maneka Rani said raids are ongoing to locate other individuals believed to be involved. Police have also been deployed in the village as a precautionary measure.
Authorities said an investigation is under way to determine the full sequence of events and identify all those responsible.
