Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, has once again made headlines, this time for a post that combines spirituality with a strong message to his critics. Known for his unique public style, Yadav shared several photographs on social media in which he is seen meditating and appearing deeply devoted to Lord Shiva, especially in his form as Mahakal. The images quickly gained attention, not just for their spiritual tone but also for the words that accompanied them.
In his post on social media, Yadav wrote that a person who worships Mahakal with a true heart has nothing to fear in life. He described himself as a devoted follower and suggested that such faith brings strength and protection. However, his message did not remain purely spiritual. He also issued a warning-like statement, saying that those who try to challenge or fight with a devotee of Mahakal will not succeed, as divine power stands with them. The tone of the post led many to see it as both a personal expression of faith and a message directed at his opponents.
Yadav has often stayed in the news for his outspoken views and unusual way of presenting them. In recent times, he has made several comments about the political situation in Bihar. He once said that the future leadership of the state would be decided by Lord Rama, again mixing religion with politics. He also hinted that he might support Samrat Chaudhary if he were to become chief minister, showing a flexible political stance.
At the same time, Yadav has continued to criticise the current government led by Nitish Kumar. He called the state’s liquor prohibition policy a failure and questioned its effectiveness. In another remark, he spoke about Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, saying that he still needs more experience in politics. With his latest post, Yadav has once again shown how he blends devotion, bold statements and political commentary, keeping himself firmly in the public eye.
