Patna: A review meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Dr. B. Rajender, Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, to examine preparations for the conduct of competitive examinations across Bihar.
The meeting was convened in line with directives issued by the Chief Minister of Bihar and brought together senior representatives from multiple recruitment bodies to discuss system-wide improvements.
Participation of Recruitment Commissions
Officials from key institutions, including the Bihar Public Service Commission, the Bihar Technical Service Commission, and the Bihar Staff Selection Commission, participated in the deliberations.
Chairpersons, secretaries and member secretaries of the commissions attended the meeting and shared inputs on examination planning and execution.
Focus on Transparency and System Strengthening
Discussions centred on ensuring error-free, transparent and timely conduct of upcoming competitive examinations scheduled in the state. The commissions were also asked to propose measures to enhance operational efficiency and integrate technology into examination processes.
Officials highlighted the need to strengthen administrative and technical frameworks to provide candidates with a fair and streamlined examination system.

Dr. B. Rajender, Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, directed all commissions to uphold the highest standards of transparency, punctuality and credibility in examination conduct.
He also stressed the need to reinforce institutional mechanisms and adopt corrective measures based on suggestions received during the meeting.
