Patna: The Special Vigilance Unit on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at multiple locations in Patna in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in a tender scam case.

The coordinated search operations targeted premises linked to senior administrative officials and a private company director as part of widening scrutiny into financial and procedural aspects of government contracts.

Raids Across Three Locations

According to SVU officials, search operations were carried out at the residence of Yogesh Sagar located at House No. E-2/10 in IAS Colony, Gardanibagh, Patna.

Another team conducted searches at the residence of Abhilasha Kumari Sharma on Nehru Path in the city.

Simultaneously, a third team reached the residence of Pawan Kumar in SK Vihar Colony, Beur, where he is associated with Matrusava Infra Private Limited.

Documents and Digital Evidence Under Scrutiny

Officials said teams are examining documents, financial records, and electronic devices recovered from the premises. The searches are focused on identifying transactions and records linked to alleged irregularities in government tender allocations.

Sources indicated that multiple files related to administrative approvals and company dealings are being reviewed as part of the investigation.

Ongoing Inquiry and Background

The SVU stated that a departmental inquiry into the tender-related case is already underway. Friday’s action is part of efforts to gather additional evidence and strengthen the ongoing probe into suspected financial misconduct.

Officials have not released details of any recoveries so far, stating that the analysis of seized material will be conducted after completion of search operations.

No Official Statement on Findings

Investigators have refrained from making public comments on the outcome of the raids. The agency said further action will depend on examination of documents and digital evidence collected during the searches.

The coordinated operations across three locations mark a significant step in the ongoing inquiry, with authorities continuing to examine possible links between administrative processes and private entities involved in the case.
