Bhagalpur: A new railway bridge has been completed in Bhagalpur district at a cost of Rs 52 crore and will soon be inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Officials said it will help reduce traffic problems and give people smoother access to important places like the subdivisional hospital.
Before the inauguration, Bhagalpur District Magistrate Dr Naval Kishore Chaudhary, Navgachhia SP Prerna Kumar and other senior officers inspected the site. He also visited the site chosen for a sports complex and stadium near Navgachhia Zero Mile. This project, planned on two acres of land, will cost about Rs 24 crore and was announced by Nitish Kumar during his Pragati Yatra.
Later, the District Magistrate held a meeting with officers at the Navgachhia Police Line to review the progress of these schemes.
