Patna: Government job aspirants in Bihar can apply for more than 14,000 vacancies announced by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) and the Railways.
A total of 14,101 posts will be filled through five recruitment examinations conducted by the three agencies.
BPSC recruitment underway
The Bihar Public Service Commission has invited applications for its 72nd Combined Competitive Examination for 1,230 posts. Candidates can apply through the official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in, until May 31.
The examination is scheduled to be held on July 26.
BPSSC to recruit for instructor and technical posts
The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has announced recruitment for 122 posts of Adhinayak Anudeshak under the Home Department. The posts fall under Pay Level-4.
Interested candidates can apply online through bpssc.bihar.gov.in. The last date for submission of applications is June 9.
The commission has also announced recruitment for 22 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Technical). Online applications for these vacancies will begin on May 21 and continue until June 21.
The age of applicants for the ASI (Technical) posts will be calculated as on August 1, 2025.
Railways invite applications for ALP and apprentice posts
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has opened applications for 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies. Candidates can submit online applications until June 14.
The last date for payment of application fees is June 16, while corrections in application forms can be made between June 17 and 26.
Selected candidates will receive an initial salary of Rs. 19,900 under Level-2 of the 7th Pay Commission. Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on July 1, 2026 and meet the prescribed A-1 medical standards.
Applications can be submitted through the official RRB website, rrbcdg.gov.in.
In addition, recruitment is also underway for 1,644 apprentice posts in the Railways.
