Sonpur/Patna: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday said the state government would organise grievance redressal camps at the panchayat level twice every month across all districts.
Addressing a public camp under the Sabka Samman–Jeevan Aasaan programme in Dumri Buzurg panchayat of Sonepur block, the chief minister said the camps would be held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month.
He said officials who fail to resolve complaints within 30 days would face disciplinary action.
Online complaint system and helpline launched
The chief minister said the government had launched a grievance portal and helpline number 1100 to enable citizens to file complaints online.
Under the system, officials concerned will receive the first notice after 10 days of a pending complaint, a second notice after 20 days and a third after 25 days.
If complaints remain unresolved beyond 30 days, the concerned official would be treated as automatically suspended, he said.
Compensation for land acquisition
Choudhary also addressed issues related to land acquisition for township projects.
He said families facing hardship due to land acquisition, including those needing funds for social obligations such as marriage expenses, could submit applications to the district magistrate.
Following verification, eligible applicants would receive compensation amounting to four times the land value, which would be transferred directly to their bank accounts.

The chief minister said the government aimed to expand industrial activity in Bihar to reduce migration for employment.
Referring to women’s self-help groups, he said women in the state were collectively conducting business worth around Rs. 20,000 crore through such networks.
He also said improvements in electricity, water supply and roads had been achieved through the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former chief minister Nitish Kumar, adding that the state now aimed to move into the front ranks of development.
