Patna: More than three lakh students who appeared for the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2025 can finally check their results, as the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the score on Wednesday. Out of 323,313 candidates, a total of 255,468 passed the exam. This means that 79.08% of the students were successful, making it a major result milestone for teaching aspirants in the state.
BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore stated that the next stage of the process will now begin. Students who have passed will be able to apply for admission to D.El.Ed teacher-training institutions from November 29 to December 5. During this time, candidates will choose their preferred colleges online. Based on the choices and merit, students will be enrolled in teacher-training courses for the 2025–27 session. There are 30,750 seats available in 306 D.El.Ed colleges across Bihar.
The entrance exam was held in computer-based mode (CBT) in two phases. The first phase was conducted from 26 August to 13 September, and the second phase from 14 September to 27 September 2025 in different shifts. Students were able to download the admit card on 20 August, and the answer key was released on 11 October 2025. The exam pattern included objective-type questions from subjects like General Hindi/Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, General English and Logical & Analytical Reasoning.
Apart from releasing the D.El.Ed results, the BSEB chairman also shared updates on other important exams. He confirmed that the STET examination held on 16 November will have its results announced in the second week of December, and the results of the fourth stage of the Eligibility Test will also be declared during the same period. These updates are important for thousands of teaching aspirants who are waiting to start their training and careers.
