Bengaluru/Patna: Bihar’s industries department has sought to attract fresh industrial investment to the state by holding a government-to-business meeting in Bengaluru with investors and representatives of leading companies.
The Bihar Industry B2G Meet 2026, organised under the guidance of chief minister Samrat Choudhary and industries minister Shreyasi Singh, focused on creating direct engagement between the state government and potential investors.
Officials presented Bihar’s investment potential, industrial infrastructure, investor-focused policies, availability of industrial land and facilities being developed across different sectors.
Investment opportunities in e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, energy, technology, engineering, manufacturing and emerging industries were among the key areas discussed.
Industry leaders share investment requirements
The meeting brought together chief executives and senior decision-makers from companies and organisations including Flipkart, Reliance Trends, Footprint, Nirani Group, Drools, Ninja Cart, Setner, Senses Pharma, Inotek Solutions, Scieng Tech Fashions, Spectrum Global Project, Green Wealth and Floating Walls, among others.
Representatives of the participating companies shared their expectations, suggestions and requirements with the industries department regarding the establishment or expansion of industrial operations in Bihar.
Singh said the state government was working to establish Bihar as a competitive and investor-friendly industrial destination.
She said the government was focusing on policy support, industrial infrastructure and other facilities based on the requirements and feedback of investors.
“Bihar offers immense investment opportunities across various sectors,” Singh said, adding that the government was seeking to convert those opportunities into actual investments through sustained engagement with industrial groups and investors.

Focus on industrial land and plug-and-play facilities
Mukul Kumar Gupta, director of industries, said Bihar was working to create an enabling environment for investors through industrial land, improved connectivity, developed industrial areas and sector-specific policies.
He urged investors to explore opportunities in the state and consider expanding their industrial operations in Bihar.
The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) also briefed participants on the availability of industrial land, facilities in industrial areas and plug-and-play infrastructure being developed for investors.
Investors were also informed about Bihar’s sector-specific and investor-friendly policies and opportunities across different segments.
The government said the Bengaluru outreach was aimed at strengthening engagement with industry and encouraging companies to consider Bihar as a destination for new projects and expansion.
