Lucknow/Patna : The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the admit card for the Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Lower PCS) Main Examination 2026. Candidates who have been shortlisted for the examination can download their hall tickets from the Commission’s official website, upsssc.gov.in.
The Lower PCS Main Examination is scheduled to be held on August 23, 2026. The admit card was released on August 19.
2,587 posts to be filled
The recruitment drive aims to fill 2,587 vacancies across various departments of the Uttar Pradesh government.

- Executive Officer – 238
- Clerk-cum-Typist/Cashier-cum-Clerk/Accounts Clerk – 229

PET-2025 scorecard mandatory
Candidates appearing for the Lower PCS Main Examination must have a UPSSSC PET-2025 scorecard. Shortlisting for the Main Examination was carried out on the basis of the normalized PET-2025 score.
Candidates must also possess a graduation degree from a recognised university, subject to the eligibility requirements of the respective post.
Application fee and age limit
The application fee is ₹25 for candidates across the General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and PH categories. Payment can be made through online modes such as debit card, credit card, internet banking and IMPS.
For most posts, the minimum age is 21 years, while the maximum age is 40 years. For the Centre In-charge post, the minimum age is 18 years. Applicable age relaxation will be provided to eligible reserved-category candidates as per rules.
How to download the admit card
Candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit the official UPSSSC website.
- Open the Notice Board/Examination section.
- Click on the link for the Lower PCS Main Examination 2026 admit card.
- Enter the required registration/PET details and date of birth.
- Submit the details to access the admit card.
- Check the name, roll number, examination date and centre details carefully.
- Download and print the admit card for the examination.
What is the selection process?
The selection process includes PET-2025 score-based shortlisting, written examination, skill test wherever applicable, document verification and medical examination.
Candidates should carry the admit card and the required documents to the examination centre and carefully follow the instructions mentioned on the hall ticket.
