Patna: The Bihar government has issued a fresh posting order for mining inspectors, deploying officials across four districts in a move aimed at improving administrative efficiency in the mining sector. The Department of Mines and Geology confirmed the reshuffle through an official order.
New Postings Announced
According to the order, Azad Paswan has been posted to the District Mining Office in Nawada, while Reena Kumari has been assigned to the District Mining Office in Katihar. Both officers were previously posted at the department’s headquarters.
The reshuffle is part of efforts to strengthen district-level monitoring and streamline operational responsibilities in mining administration.
Changes at Headquarters and District Level
As part of the same order, Ameya Kumari, who was earlier posted in Katihar, has been shifted to the Mines and Geology headquarters in Patna.
Abhilasha Gupta has been transferred from the District Mining Office in Nalanda to Arwal, while Aditya Gupta has been moved from Arwal to Nalanda.
Administrative Objective
Officials indicated that the postings are intended to improve coordination between the headquarters and district offices. The department has been periodically carrying out such transfers to ensure smoother regulatory oversight in mining-related operations across the state.
