Ara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a large public rally in Ara, urging voters to reject what he described as the return of “Jungle Raj” under the RJD-Congress alliance. “Jungle Raj should not return to Bihar, so once again, the NDA government,” Modi said, calling the opposition’s manifesto “a bundle of lies” and asserting that “the public knows everything.”
Referring to the Bhojpur region’s significant contribution to the armed forces, Modi spoke about national security, Article 370, and the “One Rank, One Pension” scheme. He said that during India’s anti-terror operations, “attacks were happening in Pakistan, but the ‘royal family’ of Congress was deeply disturbed.”
In a sharp political jibe, Modi accused the RJD of forcing the Congress to declare Tejashwi Prasad Yadav as its chief ministerial face. “Till a day before nomination, there was a fight between Congress and RJD. RJD put a katta (pistol) on Congress to get their candidate name announced,” he remarked.
He went on to describe RJD’s legacy as one of “Katta, Kushashan, Krurata, Katuta, Kusanskar, and Corruption,” claiming that 37,000 people were kidnapped in Bihar between 1990 and 2005 during the Lalu-Rabri regime.
“A developed Bihar is the foundation of a developed India,” the Prime Minister said, pledging industrial growth and local employment. “Your dream is our resolve,” he concluded, predicting that the NDA would win a record number of seats in the upcoming elections.
