Nawada: An accident occurred during the Voter Adhikar Yatra of the Mahagathbandhan in Nawada, when a policeman narrowly escaped being run over by the car of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The vehicle stopped in time, and the jawan, who suffered a leg injury, was immediately pulled out from under the car. Rahul inquired about his condition, offered him a bottle of water, and allowed him to sit in his car.
The incident took place as Rahul’s convoy passed through Nawada, and the moment has since circulated widely on social media. Earlier, in Hisua, also in Nawada, BJP supporters raised slogans against Rahul from inside a police station, prompting him to stop briefly, respond with a thumbs-up, and smile before moving on.
