Seventh ranking since July 2024
This is the seventh ranking released by Bihar RERA since the series began in July 2024. Bihar RERA says it was the first RERA authority among states in the country to introduce such project and promoter rankings.
The rankings are intended to provide prospective homebuyers with additional information that can help them assess the performance of registered projects and promoters before making a property purchase.
New QPR system introduced
Bihar RERA introduced a new system for filing Quarterly Progress Reports from the July–September 2025 quarter.
Under the revised system, promoters are required to enter information dynamically using the prescribed format on the RERA portal. According to the authority, the standardised format makes QPRs easier to process and allows homebuyers to access project-related progress information more conveniently.
The parameters used for the latest rankings have also been refined based on experience from previous editions and suggestions received from stakeholders.
RERA website redesigned for homebuyers
The Bihar RERA website has also undergone a comprehensive redesign aimed at making information easier to access.
The portal is now organised into four sections: General Public, Homebuyers, Promoters and Real Estate Agents.
The General Public section includes information on registered projects, project and promoter rankings, registered agents and awareness initiatives. The authority says the changes are intended to help prospective homebuyers access relevant information before making property decisions.
RERA urges homebuyers to use QPR information
While releasing the latest rankings, Bihar RERA Chairman Vivek Kumar Singh said the introduction of project and promoter rankings has been accompanied by efforts to streamline the QPR filing process.
He said the revised system is intended to make it easier for promoters to submit progress reports and for homebuyers to understand them.
Singh also appealed to people who have booked units in registered projects to provide the required personal and project details through the RERA Bihar website. According to the authority, registered users can then receive a summary of the project’s QPR directly on their mobile phones.
The latest project and promoter rankings have been placed under the “For The Public” section of the redesigned Bihar RERA website, allowing potential homebuyers to consult the rankings before booking a property.
