Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that the written examination for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) recruitment has been postponed. The test was due to be held across the state from January 10 to January 16, 2026, under advertisement number 87/2025.
In an official notice released on Monday, the commission said the examination — part of the selection process for hundreds of administrative posts in the state’s education department — has been deferred due to “unavoidable reasons”. The notification did not specify the precise administrative or technical issues behind the decision.
