CUSB Releases PG Admission Schedule 2026, First Cut-Off On June 11

Central University of South Bihar invites online applications for 29 PG programmes through CUET-PG scores

Gaya/Patna:The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has opened the online application process for admission to 29 postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27.

According to the university administration, admissions will be conducted on the basis of CUET-PG 2026 scores. A total of 1,238 seats are available across various disciplines.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the university’s Samarth portal till June 4.

Vice-chancellor highlights university profile

CUSB vice-chancellor Prof Kameshwar Nath Singh said the university was prepared to welcome students from across the country, as in previous years.

He said the university had received an A++ grade from NAAC and also held the status of a UGC Category-I university.

Prof Singh added that the university’s 300-acre campus and focus on quality education continued to attract students from different states.

Admission notice issued on university website

Public relations officer Mohammad Mudassir Alam said controller of examinations Shantigopal Pain had issued the admission notice on the university website.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently released the CUET-PG 2026 scorecards for the computer-based entrance examination.

The university has invited applications for a wide range of postgraduate programmes in science, humanities, commerce, law, media and professional studies.

Cut-off lists and counselling schedule

Deputy registrar (academic and examination) Kumar Kaushal said candidates seeking admission must complete registration on the CUSB Samarth portal and pay the prescribed non-refundable registration fee before the deadline.

The first cut-off list will be released on 11 June, and selected candidates can deposit admission fees between 11 and 16 June.

If seats remain vacant, the second cut-off list will be issued on June 23, while a third list, if required, will be published on July 3.

The final list of admitted students will be released on July 9, and postgraduate classes for the 2026-27 session will begin on July 16.
