Patna: IndiGo has reported the cancellation of eight flights from Patna’s Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport on Sunday, December 14, according to information shared with the Airports Authority of India, as operational disruptions at the airport show little sign of easing.
The cancelled services include flights to major destinations such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Durgapur. The affected flights scheduled for Sunday are: 6E 124 (Patna–Bengaluru), 6E 663 (Patna–Kolkata), 6E 7945 (Patna–Durgapur), 6E 6644 (Patna–Delhi), 6E 6452 (Patna–Bengaluru), 6E 6683 (Patna–Hyderabad), 6E 6550 (Patna–Delhi) and 6E 6335 (Patna–Hyderabad).

The latest cancellations come on the back of continued disruption over the weekend. Four IndiGo flights were cancelled on Saturday, while eight pairs of IndiGo flights were grounded on Friday, causing widespread inconvenience to passengers and forcing many to rebook or cancel travel plans.
Airport officials said airlines were citing operational reasons for the cancellations and delays, adding that coordination was under way to stabilise flight schedules. Passengers have been advised to check the status of their flights before leaving for the airport and to make alternative arrangements where necessary.
With several key routes affected over last 10 days, travellers remain wary that further changes to schedules could follow in the coming days.
