The first list, released on Wednesday, had 57 candidates, including 15 new faces. The party replaced candidates in 28 constituencies while retaining 29 incumbents. Six ministers and four women were included in the initial list, while four sitting MLAs were denied tickets. Seventeen MLAs who won in 2020 have been renominated. Among notable inclusions from outside the party, LJP MLA Rajkumar Singh will contest from Matihani, and Anant Singh, who recently joined from the RJD, will stand from Mokama.
