Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked his 75th birthday Today, with celebrations and well-wishes pouring in across the country. Among those extending greetings was Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha patron Jitan Ram Manjhi, who expressed a desire for PM Modi to “represent India for 100 years.”
In his message, Manjhi praised PM Modi’s contributions across sectors including defence, economic growth, and development. Highlighting India’s military and strategic achievements, he cited Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist hideouts in Pakistan, as evidence of the country’s strength. “Our strength is not against ordinary citizens, but against terrorists and anti-social elements,” Manjhi said.
Reflecting on India’s economic trajectory under PM Modi, Manjhi noted that when the Prime Minister assumed office in 2014, the country was ranked 11th-12th globally. “Today, India has surpassed Japan to reach fourth place and is on track to become third,” he said, adding that the nation has also showcased its capabilities in space and technology.
Sharing his experience as Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Manjhi described the department as a key instrument for supporting the underprivileged, crediting Modi’s leadership for enabling such outreach.
Manjhi also criticised Bihar’s opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, alleging that he had “sold out” the Grand Alliance to the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. Contrasting this with the NDA government’s record in Bihar, he pointed to rapid development projects, including the construction of the state’s largest airport in Purnia.
Reflecting on PM Modi’s personal dedication, Manjhi noted that the Prime Minister has not taken a day off since assuming office, even attending to official duties immediately following his mother’s funeral. “Heartiest birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has such charisma,” he said, reiterating his wish for Modi to continue representing India for a century.
