Kaimur: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday announced plans to construct a helipad and ropeway at Maa Mundeshwari Dham in Kaimur district, stating that the projects would help strengthen tourism infrastructure and enhance the temple’s national and international recognition.
The announcement was made during the ‘Sahyog Shivir’ programme organised near the Maa Mundeshwari Dham Dharamshala in Pahariya Panchayat under Bhagwanpur block. During the visit, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 60 development projects worth Rs 196.06 crore.
According to officials, the package includes foundation stones for 20 projects worth Rs 162.69 crore and the inauguration of 40 completed projects valued at Rs 33.36 crore.
Review of Public Grievance Redressal Programme
Before addressing the gathering, Choudhary inspected stalls set up by various departments, including Energy, Health, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Revenue and Land Reforms, Panchayati Raj, and Public Health Engineering.
Officials briefed him on applications received through the ‘Sahyog’ portal and ‘Sahyog Shivir’ programme in Kaimur district. The Chief Minister also interacted with applicants and assured them that their grievances would be addressed within 30 days.

Beneficiaries received disposal letters, land settlement certificates and sanction-related documents linked to schemes such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and the Inter-caste Marriage Incentive Scheme.
Over Three Lakh Applications Received Across Bihar
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the state government launched the ‘Sahyog Shivir’ initiative on May 19 to ensure timely resolution of public grievances.
He stated that 3,03,678 applications have been received across Bihar so far, of which 2,61,628 have already been processed within the prescribed time limit.
Highlighting the accountability mechanism, Choudhary said a first notice is issued if no action is taken within 10 days of receiving an application, followed by a second notice on the 21st day and a third notice on the 25th day. Officials failing to resolve cases within 30 days face automatic suspension on the 31st day.
According to the Chief Minister, the first notice has so far been issued to 8,942 officials, the second notice to 153 officials and the third notice to one official.

Education and Solar Power Push
The Chief Minister said the government is working to ensure degree college-level education in all 534 blocks of Bihar. Classes will begin from July in the 211 blocks that currently do not have degree colleges.
He also announced plans to establish model schools in every block over the next two years and said efforts are underway to strengthen higher education infrastructure so that students do not have to leave Bihar for quality education.
On energy, Choudhary said the government aims to provide solar power facilities to every household. Under the initiative, solar panels will be installed on rooftops without any financial burden on beneficiaries.
He said households generating electricity beyond their own consumption would be able to sell surplus power to the state government, with payments transferred directly into their bank accounts.
Tourism Projects for Maa Mundeshwari Dham
Describing Maa Mundeshwari Dham as an important religious and heritage destination, the Chief Minister announced plans for a helipad, temple renovation and ropeway facility.

He said the foundation stone for the ropeway project would be laid after the monsoon season. The government is also planning helicopter tourism services connecting major religious and tourist destinations across Bihar.
In addition, eco-tourism activities and a jungle safari are proposed in the region to increase tourist footfall and improve utilisation of the existing dharamshala facilities.
Industry, Governance and Teacher Transfers
The Chief Minister said investors seeking to establish industries in Bihar would receive necessary clearances within 30 days. He reiterated the government’s commitment to industrial growth, good governance and maintaining law and order.
He also announced efforts to streamline teacher transfers, with a proposal to post female teachers in panchayats adjoining their home panchayats and male teachers in blocks adjoining their home blocks.
Choudhary said the development projects launched in Kaimur would contribute significantly to improving infrastructure, public services and living standards in the district.
The event was attended by Higher Education and Law Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger, Minority Welfare Minister Md. Jama Khan, legislators, senior administrative officials and local public representatives.
