Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna on Friday after his health deteriorated.
A team of specialist doctors is conducting medical examinations, while hospital authorities are awaiting the results of various tests to assess his condition.
Doctors Conducting Detailed Medical Evaluation
According to reports, Lalu Prasad Yadav was advised to undergo a detailed medical examination after experiencing sudden health issues. He was subsequently taken to IGIMS, where specialists began evaluating his condition.
Doctors are carrying out a series of tests and will decide on further treatment after reviewing the medical reports. He remains under the supervision of a multidisciplinary medical team.
Long History Of Health Complications
Lalu Prasad Yadav has been managing multiple health conditions for several years. He has a history of kidney disease and previously underwent a kidney transplant.
