Patna: Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) has invited applications for admission to its Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) regular programme for the 2026–27 academic session. Interested candidates can submit their application forms through the offline mode until 13 June 2026.
The university will admit students against a total of 500 seats in the programme.
Application process underway
According to Prof Daman Kumar Jha, director of the institute, the admission process began on May 25. Applicants are required to fill out the prescribed application form and submit it in person at the institute.
The institute has stated that applications received by the deadline will be considered for the preparation of the merit list.
Merit list and admission schedule
Prof Jha said the merit list will be prepared on the basis of applications received up to Saturday.
Admissions for selected candidates are scheduled to begin from June 22 following the publication of the merit list.

The institute administration said detailed admission guidelines and related information can be obtained from the institute office.
Candidates are required to submit the application form along with all necessary academic certificates and supporting documents within the stipulated period.
